We did a project in English class to illustrate the use of biblical symbolism in Lois Lowry's novel The Giver using visual representation. The symbol I drew was the color blue, which represents rebirth; in the book Jonas, Gabe, and the Giver all have blue eyes.

However, the following story is required reading for those who wish to know how the Hungerverse ends.
This two stories represent the much-needed closure for "The Hunger Games", "Divergent", "The Giver" and "The Maze Runner".
This is the final chapter of the Hungerverse.

Katniss Everdeeen:...Elsewhere.
Thomas: We made it. After all these years, after all that all of us have lost...we made it.
Katniss Everdeen: Now comes the hard part...W.I.C.K.E.D. were wrong about many things, but they were right about one thing. We need to rebuild civilization...and do it right this time. No Panem. No Verhoeven. No Platonia. We have to build a society that works.
Jonas: The important thing is that we know what W.I.C.K.E.D. got wrong. So we can make it right. Not perfect, but at least right. And yeah, it's not gonna be easy. But now the future shines brighter for all of us.
